Student Leadership Program

Student Leadership Program (SLP)

The Student Leadership Program (SLP) is a dynamic community initiative developed by Gulfstream Aerospace and proudly supported by the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS). SLP equips high school students with essential skills to navigate opportunities beyond the traditional classroom setting. Through career and industry tours, interactive leadership workshops, and community service experiences, students gain valuable insights to prepare for future success in the local and global workforce.

Program Components

  • Career Exploration: Students participate in immersive tours of local businesses and industries, gaining firsthand knowledge of various career pathways and emerging job markets.
  • Leadership Workshops: Interactive sessions help students build strong leadership skills including communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Community Service: SLP promotes civic responsibility through meaningful community service projects that instill empathy and a commitment to giving back.
