Frequently Asked Questions
Dear Parent/Guardian:
Children need healthy meals to learn. Savannah-Chatham County School District offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast and lunch meals will be free for all students in the 2025-26 School Year. Parents no longer need to fill out the Free and Reduced Meal Application to qualify for this benefit. If a student wishes to purchase additional a la carte items beyond the meal, those items will be available for purchase through a student's My School Bucks account. Adult meals for staff and parents will continue to be available for $5.25. Please find more information in the Frequently Asked Questions section below.
