SCCPSS Medical Explorers White Coat Ceremony

- 23 students don their white coats as a symbol of training in the medical profession.

- These students meet once a month with Mercer medical students and Memorial Health staff to learn about the medical field and possibilities for career pathways.

- This SCCPSS partnership is carried on through Scoutreach Amerca.

SCCPSS Students don the White Coats in the Medical Explorer Program

The class of 2025 Memorial Health Medical Explorer Post #207 was honored with their white coats at a ceremony at the Mercer School of Medicine.

Congrats to the following:

Alfred E. Beach High School: Gabriella Bacon, Latrice Devillars, Akira Haun, Kameal Love, Samara Mitchell, Karima Mohammed, Kayla Moore and Jermia Walker.

Herschel V. Jenkins High School: Myami Hargrove, Eeshani Malkar and Alexia Robbins.

Savannah Early College: Tonnecia Blackwood, Saniya Sanders, Morgan Waterman and Hayden Young.

Woodville Tompkins High School: Bethania Fairweather, Sharon Galarza, Carter Heyward, Jaida Lee, Ruhee Patel, Kristen Ramsay, Jolie-Kaye Rhoden, Ja'Meriah Sanders, Caisyn Simpson, Mariajose Videa and Ayanna Williams.

SCCPSS families receive free laptop computers through Community Family Learning Workshop

SCCPSS partners with inspiredu, Live Oak Public Libraries and Hyundai Motor Group to provide free laptop computers to families.

inspiredu also provided an interactive workshop where pre-registered students and their parents explored core concepts of basic digital literacy skills, educational games, introduction to Microsoft Office, online safety, and more.
