The Office of School Leadership, under the direction of the Chief of Schools, is committed to ensuring that every student in the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System learns and thrives in a supportive, high-performing school environment. We provide leadership, guidance, and direct support to school principals and leadership teams across the district.

Our office provides oversight and differentiated support tailored to the unique needs of each school. Principals are the cornerstone of our district’s success, and the Office of School Leadership is dedicated to empowering them with the tools, professional learning, and resources they need to lead effectively.

Our schools are organized into two networks, with schools grouped into units by grade levels. Each unit of schools is led by a School Support Officer, and each network is overseen by a Network Superintendent.
